Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini, together with its own bee population of around 600,000, honoured the United Nations’ World Bee Day with a new technological beehive.
Automobili Lamborghini as a whole own a bee population of around 600,000. The Italian car company first launched the project in 2016 in its homeland of Sant’Agata Bolognese.
With the apiary population growing from eight hives to the current twelve, about 600,000 bees are foraging around the area.
Lamborghini’s bee project is now being enhanced with an experimental biomonitoring study of solitary bee colonies.
It would be amazing to see more companies follow Lamborghini’s lead and contribute to the bee community, and overall better the environment by keeping all its living organisms safe and away from extinction.
