Louis Vuitton has now launched a time-appropriate collaboration with Nike. The Nike Air Force shoes have now found their perfect match.
Abloh presented 21 new sneakers in vibrant green, yellow and blue hues, many featuring the label’s classic checkered print and featuring unique artwork. Abloh also made sure each pair of kicks featured the Louis Vuitton monogram prominently.
In the collaboration, the basketball sneaker’s classic design is combined with the maison’s elevated materials and insignia. Sneakerheads will notice the offset tongue tags and the flipped-out tags behind the iconic Nike Swoosh.
This may explain the use of pinks, neon green, and bold reds throughout the lineup, which is largely explained by a brief synopsis on visual ownership in the show notes.
