WHERE YOU CAN FIND AFFORDABLE HOUSING!

August 31, 2021

The fall market is finally upon us! COVID has done everything to work for us real estate agents, and not really against us. Sadly, however, those who have been greatly affected are those stuck in an affordability crisis.. Now that the Canadian Federal election has started, and different candidates keep tackling the affordability crisis, I figured that as an agent I would help you figure out where to move if a budget is a priority.

I have gathered a list of neighborhoods for you to read, and share with your loved ones and if you ever run into a situation where you need guidance, don’t ever hesitate to contact me.

If you’re running on a stiff budget, this is where you should be looking!

  • Cabbagetown/Regent Park/Moss Park area
    Central Scarborough
    Rexdale
    Jane and Finch
    Malvern/Rouge
    Agincourt
    Steeles/L’Amoreaux
    Yorkdale/Glen Park

And if that still doesn’t suit your needs, or budget you can look into moving further north!

  • Orangeville in Dufferin County
Brock and Oshawa in Durham Region
    Innisfil, Essa and New Tecumseth

Sometimes it is important to realize that sacrifices will have to be made in order to get an affordable living price. It is not easy, and not favourable but in a time where we need space, and somewhat affordable living, it is important to consider everything that comes with change.
