Marriott International has announced its first stand-alone Autograph Collection Residences. Called The Lucan, it will be in Chelsea and is scheduled to be ready for residents by 2024. The hotel will comprise one-, two- and three-bedroom units, as well as a penthouse.

The Lucan, Autograph Collection Residences will include common areas designed by interiors company Rive Gauche. Residents will also enjoy housekeeping services, 24-hour valet services, a gym for the building and (if so desired) access to a personal trainer. There's no word yet on the price of these homes.

The Lucan, Autograph Collection Residences is being "introduced" in partnership with Gulf Islamic Investments. There are 16 brands in Marriott's luxury residences portfolio, which, in total, house more than 12,000 people. The first Marriott-branded residence opened in Washington, D.C., in 2000 and the first outside of the U.S. was in Singapore in 2010.

The Lucan Hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, but it's not yet clear if this will be carried over to The Lucan. Select properties in the Bonvoy programme grant you Elite status as a guest at Marriott properties around the world - its website confirms this.

So, will you be going?
