In the week ending Sunday, 21 homes with a price tag of $4 million or more were sold, marking the first time in a month that more than 20 contracts were signed. Donna Olshan, the president of Olshan Realty, noted that the new contracts consisted of 17 condos, three co-ops, and one townhouse. The total value of these contracts exceeded $208 million, indicating a substantial increase of nearly 50% compared to the previous week.

The second-highest sale was a townhouse on the Upper East Side, priced at $27.995 million, reduced from its peak asking price of $35 million. The townhouse, a 25-foot-wide building, has been on and off the market for several years, subdivided into two apartments and a dental office, according to Olshan Realty.
