London's property market has yielded over 44% over the past decade, according to a Foxtons market analysis. The analysis compared the market to nine other investment options, including Bitcoin and the FTSE 100. Bitcoin's 4,963% yield is the most impressive, with an average value of $42,544 in December 2023. Gold follows with a 66.8% return.

Silver's price has increased by 22.9%, while investing in the FSTE 100 index would yield a smaller return of 15.7%. WTI Crude Oil, Brent Crude Oil, and natural gas are the worst investments. Emerging markets like cryptocurrency have experienced a boom period with increased volatility.

The average value of a London home has increased by over £156,000 since December 2013, according to research from the Land Registry. The London market remains the top choice for UK property investment, and the estate agency expects high investment levels as the market turns a corner in 2024. The average price is now £508,037.
